Hi, I'm Diesel! My nickname is "Big League Chew" because I just love to chew on my toys and bones. I also love to play with my friend Marlo. He is a kitten and has taught me so many cool tricks like how jump onto tables and chairs. Marlo is lazy and sleeps a lot but I just jump on his back and chew his ears until he wakes up! He does the same to me when I'm concentrating really hard on chewing my bone.

We have had Hisa since she was eight weeks old. Our lives haven't been the same since. It has been amazing watching her grow up--she is learning so much! While Hisa may look sweet, she has her little devil side too--chewing up shoes, walls, and belts. But we still love her with all our hearts and are working through her puppy stage. Hisa is definitely the baby of our family!

From mixed parents, these sweet boys just want to find loving homes. Big floppy ears and black button eyes make these boys cute and adorable. They seem quiet and shy but they just arrived a few days ago at the rescue to wait for new homes. They should be mid-sized when grown. They'll probably be between 18 and 45 pounds. They play well together and are quiet puppies. They should make great family pets. They will be ready for new homes when they are weeks old. (They were born on January 15.) Kuma is almost four months old and loves exploring the world. His interests include, but are not limited to, people, dogs, horses, and following others around like a little duckling. Kuma, a very calm puppy, is most happy snuggling up next to us at the end of a long, playful day.

Fletch was born in New Hampshire and currently lives on the North Shore of Long Island. He is an English Labrador who just experienced his first snow--two feet, well over his head! Fletch loves to sleep, eat and grow in front of his owner's eyes. During his spare time he will cuddle with Jon's t-shirt, play with Oliver the Lobster, or watch his favorite actor Chevy Chase in a classic movie. He aspires to chase cats, jump fences and play a mean game of fetch.

Torren came to live with us in October. He is the most outgoing, confident, smart pup I've ever met! He has never met a stranger, dog or person, and he loves being the center of attention. Torren is the king of his obedience classes, and we hope to get him Canine Good Citizen certified within the next few months. We would like to make Torren a therapy dog when he gets older--to share his sweet nature and bring smiles wherever we go.

Shea is the most lovable little puppy and a perfect addition to our family. Her favorite things to do are give kisses and snuggle. When she's not doing that, she loves playing outside in the park and meeting new puppy friends. She's a very sociable little Shiba and a neighborhood sweetheart. Shea's favorite outside adventure is hopping around in the snow!

These four black and tan coonhound mix puppies were found living with their mother behind a restaurant during very cold, icy weather. They are ready for adoption now and have had their first shots. These boys are very loving. They enjoy being held more than anything else. They play hard together and are in good health despite their rough beginnings. Occhi is a bundle of energy and joy focused on anything that shows the slightest inclination to play. I fell in love with her gentle nature and her blue/brown eye combination against her black fur. She is true to her mixed breed loving nothing more than a good romp in the snow with friends (four- or two-legged) or a splash in the Hudson River. We've given up trying to stop her as she derives such pleasure in it. She has odd tastes, preferring dried plum treats over biscuits or chew sticks but no matter; she has made our lives better and brighter since her arrival.

Carmen loves to give kisses and would probably never stop if you let her. Her favorite trick is twirling, but she will do anything you ask for a treat. She also loves meeting new people and pups, but her best friends are Napa, Jazz, Lena, and Riesling from daycare.

Bertie is Boston's new little brother who arrived just this week to our home. He is a cross between a Toy Fox Terrier and a Tentafield Terrier. Despite only being 11 weeks old he loves playing tug-of-war. He is also rather good at hide and seek.

Willow loves people, especially little kids. She absolutely loves playing in the snow, going for walks, and carrying sticks in her mouth. There is never enough playtime in the day for Willow but she does love to take lots of naps too! One of Willow's favorite things to do is to steal toilet paper and run through the house with it while it's still attached to the roll!

Hi, I'm Lunchbox! I love to snooze, chew on things, eat, and run around with my buddies at the park. Lately I have been having a ton of fun playing in the snow. It's fun to dig in! I love going to my puppy classes because I get to meet new friends and learn tricks like shake and roll over. I also love to go on walks and try to chase after the neighborhood birds and squirrels. Oh, did I mention I love to chew on things?

Meet Rowdy, the very sweet adoptable puppy! Watch out you don't step on this lively, tiny boy. He is going to stay small and have short hair and a wiggly tail. He loves to play and investigate. His parents are a Pomeranian and a miniature pinscher. Rowdy is very social and playful. He loves cuddling and licking your chin. He loves belly rubs too! My parents drove a very long way to get me. I went from sunshine to snow in one day. I have an older sister who loves to play with me. My mom has already taught me how to walk on a leash, sit, and come to her. I am doing very well learning to go potty outside. When I go potty I get a treat and we run to the house. I am excited to learn lots and go camping with my new family this summer.

My name is Huck and I'm a four-month-old golden retriever. I like to nibble, especially on ears! I love to play at the beach and fetch my ball, but I won't bring the ball back. I keep it for myself! When I get sassy, I bark at people and chase them around. After playing at the beach I relax at home where I chew on my big rawhide bone and give my mommy and daddy lots of kisses and love.

Cookie is an energetic, loving puppy. He loves to explore new places. At first he's shy when he meets new people, but after a while he follows anyone around. We just got him a week ago and we think he's a perfect addition to our family.

Bodie is a happy-go-lucky miniature Australian shepherd. He likes to chase his sisters, Zoey and Salem (our cats), and play in the snow. We are fortunate that we can bring Bodie to work with us. Right now he sleeps most of the day, but I'm sure that will stop shortly!
