Linux is just too much boring, while Windows...well, with Windows there's always something to do...: each day a new antivirus/antispam/antiwhat-da-fuck to install or uninstall coz it screws up everythin, a new dialer to remove, a worm (uhm..or something like it) that fucks the net up sending mails, some fucking shit after which you have to rewrite over n over again, by yourself, the entire registry; a snafu that makes all the hard disks suddenly disappear or maybe, last but not the least, you must reinstall everythin again coz the last system restore it hasn't been so that fine. Well, you know, there's always to have fun! Mm..while Linux? C'mon folks...it just WORKS! Always, everytime! Fine, at the beginnig it's quite a mess: you have to find the drivers, get how to install them, find out the 102 keys of the keyboard and the one thousand and one tricks of the shell, come back call folders folders instead of directory... Then, you have to read all the messy documentation! You know, just a true torture for someone who's used to basic click on anything that appears on the screen; but once you've done, when everythin is finally ready... ...well, it's just a fuckin borin pain in the ass! And gosh how I do love being boring... |
